I am giving you a chance of winning a free gift certificate of $10 at Daz to our members. Unfortunately since I, =kjherstin do not have a proper Internet connection and =MaiganLeigh has no Internet connection, neither of us can make a new tutorial. We are in desperate need of a tutorial to help our new users to Daz 3. So what I propose to our members here at the Daz Club is to write a Walkthrough or a Tutorial explaining how to use the Uberenvironment 2 lights in the new Daz 3D software. Of course it has to be well written and easy to understand. You have until the end of August to make this. So you have plenty of time to make this. If I find that there is more than 1 tutorial worthy of winning then they too will win a gift certificate.

It is mandatory that the tutorial be easy to read directly from deviantART and readable online or offline. So it can be an image file or flash. Fancy or not, just as long as it is easy to read. If you use an image file it must be in .png format. I will not accept .jpg or compressed image files. Quality is mandatory.

what about in pdf format to download?
i made step by step screen shots tut for the new UE2 and those who used it seem to undertstand them even they are in jpg format.

Not for this event because you have to download a file. I want it to be accesed on deviantART and make it easy to read directly on the site.

that would be pretty huge file as it includes quite a few steps if you want to do it properly.
for myself i prefer downloadable tuts.

I am making it challanging. Look at our uberenvironment lighting tutorial [link] It has many pages and you can access it directly on deviantart. For those that do not know flash, there is always a way to make a tutorial in a one image file. It's not easy I know. That is why I am offering a $10 certificate. If I were to accept offsite tutorials I wouldn't be offering any prizes

Am i being daft or is Dreamlights and uberenvironment 2 completely different companies ?? ive always found dreamlight very helpful in the past

I cant figure out the new uberenvironment at all so hopefully someone will be able to enlighten us

Uber2 was made by Omnifreaker. Isn't he part of Dreamlights?

just 1 image file is too big. that's my point. there are too many steps to just squeeze them in one image file if you want to have it properly done. besides UE2 is reacting very differently depending on the scene. it's going to be a pretty big tutorial.

No, Omnifreaker is not part of Dreamlights. He and "theSea" from Dreamlights have had some posts in the DAZ Forums in friendly competition (since their products often directly compete) in the past.
