What is the Dazclub?
Dazclub is a club for 3D Daz|Studio [DS], Bryce, Carrara and Hexagon artists alike. Here people share their experience with any Daz3D software and participate in community events, like monthly 3D render competitions.

I use Poser. Can I still be a part of this club?
Yes. You are welcome to this group. Quite honestly there aren't many differences between Daz3D and Smith Micro in terms of the final render quality. You can attain the same quality renders.

Where can I purchase Daz|Studio?
Daz is free. You can download it directly from their page at [link] You need to create a new account and they will supply you with your personal serial number. The beauty about this software is that it is all free and at Daz they supply you with free downloads at the: Free Weekly Archive

How do I start using Daz? I've never used a 3D program before.
Having difficulties starting to use the program and all the tutorials seem too difficult? Well try this: "Getting started" tutorial by Optical Sorcery. This is a simple tutorial with images. It is short and an easy to read. I guarantee you will make your first model by the time you have finished reading the tutorial. It is that simple.

What is a Platinum member?
Well you are now a member at Daz and you see all this Platinum member talk but don't exactly know what that is all about.

Yes, of course.

I can't find my stuff?
I've downloaded the software, installed it and installed some nice new 3D models but I can't find my stuff. What do I do? Am I doing something wrong?

Well it has happened to us all at one time or another so it helps to be organized and organize your runtimes also. You can find your content under your Scene Activity tab and you should see your Content tab.

What is a runtime?
Runtime is a folder in your Daz|Studio folder where all your 3D models are stored

Where can I find more information on using DAZ|Studio?
Daz3D has a wiki section on their website that provides links to official documentation on all Daz software readily available online at Software Guides. There you can read the documentation in HTML or download the pdf file and read it calmly offline at home on your computer or print it out on paper. Whatever you fancy.
