who are we?

We are a group for all Poser 3D artists who use Daz Studio, Poser, Carrara, Bryce, Hexagon or a combination of these tools.

Other works created by using modeling programs like Cinema 4D, Maya, 3DS Max are also welcome just as long they are related in some way with Poser art.

Together we can hopefully be able to share our 3D experiences to learn, share and connect...

We are not affiliated with Daz3d only a group of Daz Studio users and 3D programs alike.

I'm confused about installing the custom resources. The readme files keep saying "extract to poser base folder" but I check both of the folders in my computer and I see nowhere that they could be placed. I tried just moving them to the main folder in both spots, but when I open Daz they do not appear anywhere, and there is no sign of an option to install custom resources. It's my first time using Daz and I want to be able to use more than what is there by default, and while I do know that the shop has free stuff available, it's nothing that I really want honestly :\

If you could please give more specific information on what to do, I'd appreciate it.

I'm looking for tips and tricks to add atmosphere to my Renders in DAZ 3D that will not bog down my shamefully poor Graphics card.  I own a HP Slim Line 400-224 PC that if you need the specs for the Graphic Card. Please point me in the right direction. Thank you.
